Summative Assessment
- Interpretive Reading: Students read, analyze, compare and contrast a post and follow-up comments about the internet on Zhihu, a popular social media website in China.
- Presentational and Interpersonal task: Based on the post and previous readings, students draft their speeches for Hanyuqiao and do a mock presentation in class (group work-“judges” will give presenter feedback).
- Presentational writing task: After incorporating the feedback, students complete their speech for Hanyuqiao: Internet, friend or foe?
